Although we are new to breeding and are both employed full-time, our motives for entering the breeding community are not commercialism nor profit. Instead, it is about breed enhancement while offering people beautiful specimens that can still work; something that many of todays Huskies are not accustomed to. We do not plan to breed for looks, instead we will choose health then endurance and lastly looks; we do intend to produce puppies that meet virtually every metric of the breed standard specified by the Canadian Kennel Club. Our intention is to remain extremely active in the Siberian community and at every chance we get preaching the values of keeping our dogs in touch with their roots. The most accurate piece of infomation we received from all the breeders and owners prior to purchasing Sierra was "you better run your Sibe, or it will run you." Run her we did! After her passing, we purchased our 2 girls Meika and Kyra, and if memory serves me correctly a sled was purchased for them within months of their arrival at our home and for 2 years we waited for them to develope the proper bone structure to prevent injury to their hips or elbows.
